This afternoon I’m feeling a twinge, just a tiny little pinprick, of hope that I might finish this monster project by July 1 - my goal deadline.

(Well, okay, fine. My third goal deadline. The other two, first April 1 and then the end of spring semester, have passed.)

Just a twinge, though.
