is now I’d put it. I live on Sesame Street. I went to our neighborhood association meeting last night. We worried over sidewalk cafes and a tiny stretch of Sheridan Road that hasn’t been repaved yet. Today I ran north on the Lake Shore Trail to meet my sister who ran south. We did three miles, and I left her place two hours later with a belly full of wine and pasta. I walked home, even ran a little bit, to warm up. I peeked into the window of the vintage furniture shop on Broadway. I joked with a random guy on the street. Oh, and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law might buy a condo here as well. So that would be all of my siblings, in one place. I love this weather. I love this city. I always talk about these big plans I have…doing a post doc in San Francisco or New Orleans or New York. But if this is what it’s going to be like…if my sisters are going to be here and my parents stay just down the road in Indiana and summer in Chicago keeps happening, I won’t leave.
And if it’s possible to be in love with a place, I am.
