My lovely keys…found at the coffee shop where I studied yesterday, hanging up right in front of my face and the faces of the two very helpful employees who looked really hard for them. I left disappointed and they called about 10 minutes later and we all had a good laugh about what idiots we were to miss them.
So I’ve broken my spending freeze twice in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, I bought a coffee at the lost keys place because I was right by my train stop and had 45 minutes to wait until it came and didn’t want to walk all the way back to my office for such a short amount of time. And today I bought a celebration latte with a pump of hazelnut. Which also means I broke my May resolution because I didn’t have my reusable cup with me. But I was obligated to order something from these helpful gentlemen, don’t you think?
Anyway, I am so, so relieved to have my keys back. In addition being a hassle to get new ones made, I also have a flash drive attached to them that has sensitive info on it. It’s password protected, so it probably would’ve been fine, but still…
