Check it.
I’m wearing a shoe on my left foot for the first time since December 10th.
I’m also cleared to do light yoga sans twisty standing poses,
to walk around my apartment without a cast this week,
and to take short (one to two block) walks without a cast next week.
This is all excellent news.
(But, admittedly, this thing is taking way longer to heal than I expected.)

Totally feeling your elation at the progress (& understanding your disappointment at the time frame). I feel like I have finally moved from 85% to 90% better & I have come to realise that the last stages of recovery take the longest. xx
